Here are some of my female friends and my girlfriend. They all got razzy last night. They dipped their heads and feet into kiddie pools full of icing and slang words. I think everyone one had a respectable amount of fun. Then I showed up and photographed. Havnt shot much for this blog lately due to all the black and white film shooting I have been doing for my class. I will do my best to try to update this thing on a regular basis. Also..check out all the links I post inside my words. Also...the girl throwing up the middle finger is lovely. Also....graffiti party tonight so I should come back with some cool shots. Also...I need to figure out what the definition of a "advanced" photographer is. What makes you "advanced". If you think you know, tell me/show me/feed me because I like free food.
I was very happy to find this squirrel dead. For some reason I am infatuated by death and the different forms and appearances it can take. I find the position of the body very interesting. How everything seems to go limp and you become a macabre gymnast, bending and twisting in ways not possible while blood runs warm and you can still feel the pulse in your neck. This photo reminds me of crime scene photos I have seen by legendary photographer Weegee. So today I will dedicate this post and photograph to Weegee. Here are some links to enjoy his work.
This gentelmen approached my car window last night. Begging for change to go toward gas for his car stranded a little down the road. I proposed a deal, change for his photograph. He agreed as long as I wasn't the police. I forgot to ask his name. I have no idea if his gas story is credible or not, but I would like to think he was being genuine. We were both wearing flannel shirts that night. Listening to: The Felize Brothers
